Vegan Nutella  Linus Gorpe Vegan Chocolate

It's like the holy grail :) Vegan, four ingredient chocolate spread by our good friend Alessia

Ingredients:
200g hazelnuts
4tbsp cacao powder
6tbsp maple syrup (or agave, coconut nectar)
1 pinch of salt

Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 180°C and add spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet. If raw, roast them for about 10-15 minutes. If they are already roasted, roast for 5-8 minutes just to warm up the natural oils and help in the removing of the skins. The roasting will make it easier to blend them into butter;
After removing them from the oven, with the help of a towel, rub them to remove the skins. Not all of them will come out, but it's ok as long as you remove most of them;
Now add the hazelnuts to a food processor or high-speed blender and blend on low until a butter starts to form.
At this point, add the cacao powder, the maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Blend again to mix the ingredients until they are well combined. Usually the total blending time is about 10 minutes to transform the hazelnuts into a butter-like texture;
Taste and adjust the flavour as needed, adding more salt or maple syrup if you feel like. Careful, beacuse the more liquid sweetener you add the firmer/stiffer the Nutella will get, so keep in mind to add it sparingly;
Transfer to a glass jar and store at room temperature for everyday use. I don't know if it can be stored for more than 1 week because it never lasted so long :)
