Raw Nutella

Vegan | Raw | Gluten Free

You can either make your own nut butter for this recipe or save your mixer the trouble and buy some. Either way you’re in for a massive treat! 
 
 
Ingredients:
 
• 100g Nut Butter 
• 20g Cacao Powder
 
Nut Butter:
• 100g Nuts of choice (hazelnuts, almonds or sweet apricot kernels work best)
• Pinch Salt
 
Method:
 
1. First make the nut butter. If using shop bought, skip to step 3.
2. Place nuts and salt in the food processor. You’ll need to pulse it for 15-20 minutes, depending how strong your motor is. Keep tamping down the sides. It will seem like nothing is happening for a long time, but eventually the nuts will give up their oil and hey presto! You have nut butter. Put to one side.
3. Clean and dry the processor and grind your coconut sugar to a fine powder.
4. Then add all ingredients to the sugar and blend until smooth and tasty. 
5. If you want it more chocolatey, add more cacao powder. 
6. Seal in a jar, if you are reserved, it will last up to two weeks in the fridge.
