Mini Hemp Chocolate Cakes - yes please!

 
I am loving Vegan Month! My pledge to go vegan this month is actually a huge relief - I'm enjoying new foods (our Raw Hemp Protein Powder is fabulous), a new way of cooking (or non-cooking) and, half-way through my month, I am already considering making this a permanent change. There are a couple of things I miss: my morning poached eggs and lightly steamed brocolli and sharing in the family 'cup of tea and a cake' sessions. We always have home-made cakes or biscuits ready for the boys' packed lunches and weekend treats and so far I have just abstained...until now...

She makes wonderful raw and vegan cakes, and we can’t wait to get our tongues around this one!
 
When you want some extra vegan protein in your life but you also want chocolate, look no further than these delicious little cakes!
 
Ingredients:
 
4 heaped tbsp Hemp Protein Powder
4 heaped tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
1 cup medjool dates (approx 9 dates)
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil
 
Process in a food processor all the above ingredients apart from the chocolate mulberry chips.
 
When you have a sticky mixture, transfer to a bowl and add the raw chocolate covered mulberry chips.
 
Stir in and set in little moulds et voila! Mini Hempy Chocolatey cakes at your service! Have a couple for breakfast with a green smoothie - why not?!
