Cheery Cherry Energy Balls

Here's a great recipe from our good friend Caroline, you can get more inspiration from her insta feed

It’s cherry season, they are definitely one of my favourite fruits! Here I made some cherry energy balls. Very easy to make! (And they look super pretty)


100g cherries
50g almonds
50g oats + 50g oats
50g dates
1 tsp cacao powder
1 tbs cacao nibs
2 tbs maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Blend all the ingredients together in a food processor or blender except for the extra 50g oats
When the ingredients are well blended, add them to a mixing bowl. Add the remaining 50g oats and combine them well
Let the mixture sit in the fridge for 15 minutes
Roll the mixture into small balls
I rolled the balls in chia seeds, oats, desiccated coconut, cacao powder and hemp seeds. If you want to get even more fancy, dip the balls in melted Pitch Dark chocolate.
